Chips are great here not that i should be eating them with my fat belly
Delicious food! Great end to our holiday, very busy but served in good time. Slightly over priced but didn't mind as so yummy. Probably won't visit again as Pontins has gone downhill so won't be visiting again.
Simply food served by buffoons. The Pelican take away caters solely for the people of Pontins who hit camber after a great day on the beach to food you can trust and then get disappointed, the staff dont understand what quality food is about, the reviews which are positive are placed by people whose hunger has overcome sense. This take away has been around for a few years so should understand needs and have food cooked ready not expecting families to wait up to 45 minutes on some occasions but always waiting 15 minutes the minimum, give this take away a pass by and go into rye for fresh fish served as required Marinos fish shop or the kettle of fish this people know how to cook fish and chips and you wont be disappointed.
Where do I start! Lovely staff! All round smiles and perfect fish and chips! Would honestly recommend going! It gets busy and I didnt mind the wait as I know Ill get my scrumptious dinner! Decent prices! Best chip shop down the coast! Highly recommend
Fantastic proper old fashioned chippy! Great sized portions and reasonably priced. Polite and friendly staff. Didn't have too long to wait but was out of season so could change in summer months. Fully recommend that you visit when down in Rye!
