Dirty apartment, not enough plates, mugs, spoons, fork. No duvet 1 pillow to share with 4 people. Was a total disaster, they lost my booking and someone died in one of the room on our 3 night there.
I am amazed this place is still open. It is the most dirty awful accommodation ever. The play area and swimming pool are absolutely diabolical. The staff are rude and unhelpful x the eating area is a health hazard. The buildings need to be knocked down and re built. I think one or two good reviews are a scam. The bars are manned by two people and have to operate 3 bars. Don't waste your money. Has anyone complained to the local council as it should be shut down. Its a health hazard and it's bad they are still charging people to stay there.
Club chalet was clean and tidy. We had a couple of minor issues, but was rectified within a couple of hours. We were given new bedding (still in the packets). Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Site was clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Had a great time.The only reason for four stars is due to lack of pillows. Unfortunately, they could only give out one per person.
Accomodation is pretty basic but for the price it's adequate. Whatever it lacks in comfort it makes up in fun. We had an absolute blast here with family. We will remember our stay at Pontins Camber Sands and it's mainly fond memories.Would have given it 5 stars but beds and toilets need updating as they're very old and tired.
I love the place. The staff are happy and helpful. My children were entertained. Nice swimming pool. I really do not understand the bad reviews. You get what you put into it. If your happy and polite the its returned.I will be back next year. Its only a short walk to a beautiful beach.
